We have had a spectacular experience at Valentina's preschool these past few years. I have to say that we are so sad to have graduated this year.
I'll start by saying, while all my friends were picking corporate or pretentious cookie cutter preschools, I felt uncomfortable sending my daughter to an environment where I felt like she might get lost in the shuffle. I made the choice to send her to Valentina's Preschool instead- where I felt the energy was comfortable and very focused on nurturing an individual child with individual needs.
Valentina's Preschool is a small, home like and friendly place where everyone is welcome and all families are friendly and inclusive. No child gets left behind. Valentina works with the kids daily and she is very obviously passionate about helping to raise well-rounded and kind little humans. The staff and Valentina go out of their way to make sure every child feels special and loved. She will accommodate specific needs and she is understanding and very helpful to us parents. My daughter had such an amazing experience at preschool and never complained about going. She always looked forward to being with her friends and learning and playing. When she was sick she would be sad that she couldn't go to school. Every week she would come home with different fun art projects. They did gardening , dance, yoga, art, and learning.... Just to make a few things. Every child is honored extensively on their birthday. I cannot say more good things about this place.
I am so glad I made the choice to send my little girl here. If I ever have another child I wouldn't do it any other way.
Thank you to Valentina and her staff for making my daughters toddler years so smooth and memorable. As a single mom it can be difficult to trust others with your children and I really really trust Valentina.

My 2-year-old son attended Valentina's Pre-School, and we could not have been happier with the level of care, attention to detail, and love from Valentina and her team. This was my son's first daycare, and as he was born at the beginning of the pandemic, he was naturally quite clingy and only used to his immediate family. Valentina and her staff were brilliant at welcoming him and settling him in straight away. They are great at communicating with daily photos and the monthly newsletter, letting us know what they will be teaching the kids and the holidays/seasons they will celebrate. If we weren't moving abroad, my son would have stayed at Valentina's until he was 5. I am so grateful to everyone on the team and very sad to leave. Thank you to Valentina, Slavica, Angelica, and Milagros (Mila also was a fantastic babysitter) for being a dream team.

Valentina and her team are amazing people. My daughter started with them when she was 2 years old and learned so much. From ABCs, and numbers, to Spanish and yoga stretches. I am extremely thankful for Valentine's preschool as my daughter is now advanced at her new school. Choose Valentina's preschool, they're the best!

Our daughter is about to graduate from Valentina's Preschool and we will miss this place that we just love! We switched over in Fall 2020 because we felt Valentina's in-home style set up would be a safe setting for our then 2 1/2 year old in an unvaccinated world. Valentina and her team of caring caregivers/educators have followed excellent safety protocols - so important! But it's clear personal hygiene and self care are taught to the kids in many ways, not just related to the pandemic.
Educationally, in this more intimate setting our daughter has thrived! She gets focused attention from the teachers who are able to support her to develop things like Spanish, which they practice daily, and it turns out our little one has an aptitude for! She knows more Spanish than we do and is getting so confident speaking and singing words she can teach mom, dad and her big sister. Every day at Valentina's preschool seems to bring new discoveries, even after a year and a half there. The Friday weekly backpack full of artwork, math, tracing, and more are a delight to review to see how the kids have been thematically learning throughout that week.
At regular intervals of about 6 months Valentina has provided an assessment of how our daughter is doing so we're all able to track her process together. We look for areas to support, if needed, and stay connected on the best ways to help our kiddo grow up surrounded by caring educators who really know and focus on your child in the most thoughtful ways. This kind of tracking and connecting to our child specifically set us up for a wonderful evaluation process, in partnership with Valentina, for the Pre-K application process which was a breeze. Thanks for the wonderful educators and caregivers at Valentina's Daycare & Preschool our now 4 year old daughter will be perfectly prepared for Pre-K in the fall!

My daughter started at Valentina's preschool when she was 1.5 year old and went there for 2 years. It was our best decision to enroll into this school. Finding good school is very important in the early development and Valentina and her staff of teachers performed their duty at fullest by heart.
At Valentina's school, she got exposure to learning phonics, letters, numbers, gardening, yoga, exercise, group play, dancing, music, creative play, painting and much more. She also learned self care and how to control her emotions.
I will definitely recommend anyone to enroll their child to this school.

Valentina's preschool is fantastic, without any exaggeration.
Both of my kids love it there. There's around 10 or so children there and 3 teachers, so every child get a lot of attention.
The teachers are excellent and very loving. Every day my now almost 3.5 year old comes home with something new he learned. He knows about 10 different songs he randomly sings at home,( none of which I thought him ) They draw, trace pictures and letters, play with plato, collage, cook, bake, learn letters and meaning of the new words, lots of Spanish words too. There is some kind of an art project every day and as if that wasn't enough, Valentina teaches them how to plant plants, make wind flags, they make bird houses, they learn about teeth and teeth hygiene, ice melting and all kinds of science projects and experiments, caterpillars turning into butterflies, seasons and its changes, days of the week, counting .. I mean the list goes on and on...
I am amazed how much my son has progressed. My child is bilingual + some Spanish and he can switch back and forth with ease, his English is now pretty fluent for a 3 year old.
He surprises me every day with something new he learned. My girl is still little but she's very loving with all the teachers and we never have problems dropping her off. They both love spending their days there.
Also aside from playing, dancing and running around they do yoga for kids several times a week.
It's a great balance between their physical, mental and creative activities.
They also feed them there so you don't have to bring food. There is breakfast, lunch consistent of some type of protein, carbs and vegetables every day plus a substantial snack in the afternoon.
Valentina always talks to us in great detail about what she thinks our children need or where they're at as far as potty training, their behavior, concerns or anything of a sort .. so we are all on the same page as far as how to address certain things at home and in school.
As far as discipline, if children act out, they are always talked to with respect. I noticed Valentina always kneels down to speak with the children on their level and explains to them if something is not ok to do. I fully support the non intimidating discipline approach and directing a child toward proper behavior. Honestly there is nothing there that bothers me. My children are happy, they learn so much every day.. My son talks about his teachers all the time and always mentions how proud they will be of him on Monday morning when he tells them about something good he did during the weekend. ( currently that's pooping in the potty )
Also, almost every day Valentina texts us pictures of our kids and their activities.. I love that!

Valentina's is absolutely incredible! Their care is excellent and my daughter thrived under their guidance. They gently encouraged her speaking and social skills, and supported her as she transitioned into her role as a big sister. Over the last year I have been so impressed by the creative projects my daughter completes each week. Valentina fills the day with so many interesting activities from gardening, painting, and yoga to reading, cooking, dress up. As a teacher myself I appreciate the thematic units Valentina plans each week. My daughter particularly loved studying 'polar bears' and making ice caps. I highly recommend Valentina's daycare- we could not have been happier with our experience.

My daughter has been going to Valentina's for 2 years now. She loves it and so do I. As I am writing this I just got a photo texted of my daughter, I get one every now and then. I don't expect it, nor freak out if I don't. It is an awesome little extra to see on my phone and I really appreciate it.
We have had ups and downs with my two year old and Valentina is there with us first time parents every step of the way helping us make adjustments with her potty training and behavior. A couple times I had an issue come up and I brought it to her attention right away and I feel like she listened and addressed my concerns.
Daycare is her home away from home. She comes home happy and with art projects every week. She is learning all sorts of things like colors, alphabet, numbers, ets. It is a really great environment for kids. Highly recommended.
